Using beeswax with the kindergarten age child is warming and a sensory experience of both texture and scent. Often referred to as Waldorf beeswax modeling, It smells sweet and feels smooth and warm in the hand. While listening to a nature tale children can form shapes working on their fine motor strength as they attend to a story. Beeswax can be used over and over again by simply warming it in the sun and reshaping back into a ball to be handed out at story time. We’d love to hear from you.
